Book review: House of Frank by Kay Synclaire

 Book description:

Saika is ready to plant her sisters ashes at Ash Gardens. She is welcomed by the owner, Frank, who offers her a job at Ash Gardens. Saika accepts, trying to put off putting her sister to rest. As a powerless witch, there isn't much for Saika to do. The longer she stays, the more she learns about love, grief, and family.

Book review:

I thought this was ok. It was great as a debut novel but forgettable among all the other great books out there in my opinion. It might have been that cozy fantasy just isn't my thing. I have heard to many people say that they cried after reading this and I didn't feel like that when I finished. Good start for people trying to get a start in fantasy. It seemed like we got very simple answers to why the characters were there and I didn't really like how they interacted with each other cuz it felt like they were being mean to each other half the time.
I felt a similar way to Legends and Lattes.
