Book review:
This book started off really strong but then went downhill especially after part 2. There was too much happening with too many characters with their own perspectives. We don't really get any resolutions for anything. We don't really get an answer on why cities are unmapping except a vague suggestion it might be happening because of climate change. Our 2 main characters, Esme and Arjun, were unbearable. We don't know why Esme's fiancé disappeared one day, even though it seems like Esme's world basically revolved around him. Arjun has a weird obsession crush on Esme. Esme and Arjun get together at the end when there was no chemistry between them. I had high hopes for this one but it fell short.
