Book description:
Anna was born to be a donor for her sister, Kate. When Kate finally needs a kidney, Anna decides to sue her parents for rights to her own body. As the case is going on, Kate gets sicker, and the family breaks apart.
Book review:
Really good book, but bad movie adaptation. The movie was basically a AU fan fiction of the book in my opinion. The movie moves the plot to the other side of the country, and changes the ending. I picked this up because I saw a few clips of the movies, and it was only like the same 2 so I got curious. People were saying that the movie and book endings were different but I wanted to read the book first to know how it really goes before seeing the movie. Glad I read the book first. I also feel they did Jesse dirty in the movie.
