Book review: Someone You Can Build a Nest In by John Wiswell

 Book description:

Shesheshen is being hunted by monster hunters, while she sleeps in a ruined manor. The hunters drive her away into a cliff where she is found by Homily. As they grow closer, Shesheshen is torn between revealing her identity, and protecting Homily.

Book review:

I knew this book was going to be weird going into it, but it was weird. I still can't decide if I liked it more than I was weirded out by it if that makes sense. I should have guessed earlier than I did that Homily's mother wasn't quite normal. I got this book from someone's weird/unhinged books recommendation video on tiktok but I don't know their username there and I don't follow them. So if you need a book that isn't typically what is recommended, go for this one.
